Stone is a very sweet, affectionate and playful boy who has had a rough start to life. Due to this rough start he has a hard time dealing with change and settling into new environments. He can be startled by loud noises and sudden movements. When settling he can feel defensive and be very standoffish, but once he trusts you and becomes comfortable he appears like a completely different cat. Stone is quite playful when he's comfortable, his favourite toys being wand toys! Stone loves playing so much that playing with him really helps him with making progress while he settles into new environments. He still is learning to play gently and can get a little too excited at times. Once he settles he loves to trill and meow at people he recognizes and around meal times, he is quite food motivated as well. He is very affectionate once he settles but does still get a little too excited and overwhelmed. Due to him being startled easily, Stone is looking for a calm and quiet home with little commotion and no children or dogs. He would likely do well with another cat in the home that has a similar personality with a slow and proper introduction as not to change too much too quickly for him. Stone is a very sweet boy who will make a wonderful companion to someone who will be patient and work with him on his own terms.
