***IN FOSTER***Ciao, Claudia!Petite and sweet, our precious Claudia is a cat with a mysterious past. She was rescued as a stray, brought to another shelter, and now, she's made her way to EHS to find a loving forever home of her own. After taking some time to decompress, Claudia is beginning to realize that she's safe, and as a result, she has started to engage more and more with her foster parent.As we're learning more about this demure girl, we've discovered that Claudia knows how to communicate that she wants a meal, usually by giving you a silent head bump or some very vocal meows! Over a relatively short period of time, she's gained confidence being around people and has also started to seek affection. While she's still a little timid when first approached, she will stretch out and lean into chin scratches and head pets, showing how relaxed she is. When she's not making biscuits on her cat bed, Claudia also enjoys playing with wand toys.Claudia can be wary of strangers, and loud noises cause her to startle and hide, but who can blame her? She's taking her time to build up her trust in people and her new environment, so she will do best in a home with someone who is patient and can give her the time she needs to help her feel safe.If your interest in adopting Claudia is as simple black and white (though there's nothing simple about her gorgeous tuxedo colouring!), then contact EHS today!--------------------The adoption fee for a single cat at EHS is $175. Take home an adult feline friend for your kitty and the adoption fee for the pair is $300! For kittens under six months of age, the adoption fee is $200...Or double your cuteness quotient and adopt two wee furballs for $350! If you mix and match (kitten plus cat), the adoption fee is $300. Each of our cats is spayed/neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, snap tested for FIV/FeLV, dewormed, and flea treated prior to adoption. Kittens are not spayed or neutered until 5 months of age, but the cost of spay/neuter will be covered as part of the adoption.--------------------Interested in adopting Claudia? It's easy!
