Can Art has grown from a single press operation in 1988 to the multi plant, multi press operation that we are today. We have an immediate opening for Aluminum Packers at our Brampton Extrusion Plant. Position Overview: As an Aluminum Packer in the aluminum extrusion manufacturing industry, you will be an integral part of the production process, responsible for ensuring the efficient packing and handling of aluminum extrusion products. Your role involves meticulously inspecting and preparing finished aluminum extrusions for shipment, adhering to quality standards and safety protocols throughout the process. Duties & Responsibilities: ·Thoroughly inspect finished Aluminum Extrusion products for defects, ensuring they meet quality standards before packing; identify and address any surface imperfections, dimensional inaccuracies, or other abnormalities Carefully pack aluminum extrusions into designated containers or pallets according to specifications provided Arrange products securely to prevent damage during transport and ensure proper labelling and documentation Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records by documenting quantities of packed products and reporting any discrepancies to supervisors/team lead Adhere to all safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment; wearing appropriate PPR and following proper lifting techniques Maintain cleanliness of packing area including clearing away packaging materials and debris Skills & Qualifications: 1 year experience working in a manufacturing warehouse environment Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity Ability to handle up to 50lbs with precision and care Flexible availability to work a rotating continental shift Personable with clear communication skills Able to work well with others in a team environment Safety conscious and awareness of safe work practices and procedures What We Offer: Competitive hourly rate to start Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental and extended health care benefits after 30 days Monthly Employee Lunches Paid Breaks Access to Employee Perks and Incentives Opportunity for Overtime Opportunities for career growth within our organization Schedule: 12 hour shifts Rotational (2 weeks on days, and 2 weeks on nights) Continental (2 days on, 2 days off, & every other weekend) Can Art Aluminum Extrusion Canada Inc is an equal opportunity employer with a commitment to empower a highly skilled workforce.
