With ingredients carefully selected and combined to suit your environment, it’s easily applied to even the toughest landscapes: hillsides, irregular areas, and banks. We offer services in new property lawn installation, dead, patchy lawn repair, commercial & public spaces, and highway & embankments. Position Summary: We are looking to build our team of crew members to service residential and commercial hydroseeding projects. As a Hydroseeding Operator, you will have the opportunity to engage in outdoor work, assist in the mixture of seed and fertilizer, and play a vital role in creating beautiful greenspace. You will be responsible for operating hydroseeding equipment to spray seed, mulch, and fertilizer onto intended surfaces for landscaping projects operating a Dodge Ram 3500 & flat bed trailer. Please note that this is a seasonal full-time role for the months of April 2024-November 2024. Hours will vary, dependent on heavy rain and/or snowfall. Employees may also work weekends for additional hours. Key Responsibilities: Seasonal, full-time work (April 2024-November 2024) Combining mixtures of seed, fertilizer, mulch, and tackifiers Applying/spraying mixtures to designated surfaces Operate hydroseeding equipment to spray seed, mulch, and fertilizer Conduct routine maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance Follow safety protocols and guidelines Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate work activities and projects Requirements: Outdoor work Strong communication and teamwork skills Proficiency in troubleshooting and problem-solving Ability to lift up to 23kg (50lbs) CSA Certified steel-toed safety boots Class AR license, or willing to obtain license for role Desirable Skills: Knowledge/proficiency in hydroseeding techniques Prior experience as a general labourer Familiarity with seed types, mulches, and fertilizers Experience operating machinery/equipment Class AR license, or willing to obtain license for role To Apply: Applications will be accepted until positions have been filled.
