Please meet Miny! But she’s also known as Rusty because of the orange rusty spot on her forehead and throughout her body. Even her voice is a little bit “rusty”! Miny is a brave and energetic eight-month-old girl. She’s curious about everything and will be the first to explore your grocery bags to see if you have brought home any goodies for her. She LOVES games, and as long as you don’t stop playing, she'll go on forever. Her favourite toys are wand toys, but if you’re tired of playing, toss her a toy on the floor, and she’ll fly over to it and keep herself busy for hours. Miny is becoming a little chatterbox and will respond every time you call her name, even if she’s sleeping. While she might not be a fan of being picked up, she loves cuddling, and loves to sit and watch TV with her humans. Tap on your legs when you’re sitting down, and she will always come running to you. She’s not a big foodie and is quite regulated with food portions compared to her siblings, but she’s always down for a treat! Churus and dried sardine fish are her favourites. Don’t leave your water glass unattended – she will most definitely help herself. Miny loves sleeping on cat trees and has three different trees in her foster home that she rotates through. A very bendy girl, she sleeps in the most twisted shapes and loves showing her belly. Make a little tent with your blanket, and she’ll sleep under your legs. When she plays with you, she enjoys bum taps and is on a serious mission to catch her tail, something she has been working on her whole life! Miny is good with other cats and kids. Dogs are unknown. She MUST have another cat-friendly cat in her new home. Miny and her siblings were born to a stray. She is the last of her siblings still looking for their forever home at last. Due to Covid we are not doing home visits at this time. We are very diligent in our screening of potential adopters. Applications are approved based on best fit for the cat, not first come, first served.Shelter locationWe are currently in the adoption centre at PetSmart Etobicoke, where we have a limited number of cats and kittens. All of our available cats can be viewed on our website.
