Our Cameo appeared on the EHS screen one winter day, with four healthy kittens in tow. She has finished performing her maternal duties and now she is ready to find her forever home.At first, Cameo was understandably very scared and hissy in her new situation, but this gentle girl never displayed any aggression. While she was averse to being touched, she would only run away when hands approached her. Her foster parent reports that with a lot of patience, Cameo has made marvelous progress! She is at ease in her foster home, playing, sleeping, and zooming around. Although still startled by loud noises or quick movements, Cameo has recently allowed hand pets and loves them! She will wind herself around her foster's legs and give quiet little meows, asking for affection. She can't seem to get enough attention! This young tortie is still very much a kitten herself and loves to play. She will amuse herself with mouse toys, and she also adores chasing the laser pointer. Cameo regularly gets the zoomies and bolts all over the house. After all that activity, she likes to relax by the windows enjoying cat TV. Cameo's foster would like you to know that "she really is the sweetest girl."Cameo is looking for a home where playtime and pets are the order of the day, and where her timid side will be respected. Cameo adores the foster parent's resident cat, and would love to be in a home with another friendly feline who is interested in playing with her. Take home an adult feline friend for your kitty and the adoption fee for the pair is $300! For kittens under six months of age, the adoption fee is $200...Or double your cuteness quotient and adopt two wee furballs for $350! If you mix and match (kitten plus cat), the adoption fee is $300. Each of our cats is spayed/neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, snap tested for FIV/FeLV, dewormed, and flea treated prior to adoption. Kittens are not spayed or neutered until 5 months of age, but the cost of spay/neuter will be covered as part of the adoption.--------------------Interested in adopting Cameo? It's easy!
