Mix or select pre-mixed paint to obtain desired colors, considering pigment, oil, and additives to ensure consistency and drying. Apply paint, wallpaper, and other finishes to interior and exterior surfaces. Ensure that scaffolding or ladders are set up and used safely to access areas above ground level. Protect unpainted areas using masking tape, drop cloths, and other protective materials. Assist clients in choosing color schemes and wall coverings based on their preferences. Install wallpaper and fabric wall coverings by accurately measuring, cutting, and adhering them to walls. Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and priming as necessary. Repair cracks, holes, and other defects on surfaces to ensure a smooth finish. Keep a clean and safe working environment, ensuring tools and equipment are properly stored and cleaned after use. Maintain communication with clients to understand their specific needs and expectations. Job Requirements Completion of high school. Relevant education or a minimum of 2 years of experience. Good communication skills. Ability to work independently under limited supervision. Understanding of the principles, methods, and techniques of painting. Knowledge of preparation techniques and painting materials and tools. Understanding drawings, plans, and following written and verbal instructions. How to apply?
