The Role of a Lawn Care Technician: Provide professional lawn care services to customers, including applications of fertilizer, weed, insect, & mosquito control, aeration, and seeding. Perform lawn analyses while identifying lawn problems Communicate with customers and provide excellent customer service. Properly and safely maintain equipment. Safely and knowledgeably handle, mix, transport, and apply lawn care products. Complete assigned daily work, associated paperwork, and administrative requirements related to the position. Paid Employee Growth and Development: On-the-job, paid initial training Several paid in-season ongoing training opportunities Opportunities for career advancement In-house training systems for personal growth and certifications Requirements: Passion to provide excellent customer service. Valid Manitoba Class 5 driver's license. (Current abstract will be required) Minimum of a high school diploma or GED Legally able to work in Canada. SIN required. Clear verbal and written communication skills Able to work 8-10 hours per day (including Saturdays during peak season) Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds (8-10 hours per day) Ability to work in various weather conditions Adhere to company policies Self-motivated and will initiate action when needed Requires minimum supervision but knows when to ask for assistance Accepts feedback from fellow team members Benefits: Competitive Compensation: $18.00 per hour minimum plus production commission.
