Looking for a Buddy who: Is a "distinguished gentleman" on walks?? Is content to laze about w/you, but will happily join in for a hike /other adventure?? Loves modern luxuries and has a refined palate (Liver Treats anyone)??LOVES his people??Search no more because ……. I AM Your Guy!I'm BRET. Approx.. 2yrs old, stand 10" at my shoulders & weigh 25lbs. I'm a Dachshund/Schnauzer/ Terrier mix ~ a handsome fella, if I do say so myself!WALKS: I'm a social guy and love meeting new friends! I get SO excited and want to run right over to say HI (my tail wags like crazy!!). On occasion, I miss their social cues telling me they are not as excited to meet me (will need your help with this).POTTY: I have "perfect potty manners" and can, if necessary, hold it for 7-8 hours.CATS & KIDS: I've had limited exposure to a cat but I was pretty indifferent to her. My Foster feels that I'd be OK having a feline sibling ~ with a SLOW intro.Kids ~ older would be best (or, just Big Humans). At times, I like my space and need my my peeps to be respectful of this.CRATE: Not a fan! I'm getting better but, I do tend to cry/bark when left home alone in my crate. When I hear you return, I can't wait for you to let me out!TALENTS: Where there's a Will, there's a Way, right?? I've been discovered (to my Foster's surprise!) on the kitchen counter 2x and the patio table 1x!! Also, I'm a super good back "scoocher". I gotta do it ~ it feels SO Fab!TOYS: Meh…..not excited. I'm slowly getting the hang of what to do w/them and…. it is kinda FUN!OTHER: I seek out the best nap spots in the house. My absolute "go to" is my Foster's Jumbo Bean Bag chair, but I will settle for the couch or my Foster's bed if I have to.I AM Your Guy!! Contact PIF & let's get together soon,BRET
