Your resiliency and ability to bounce back when things don’t go as planned will ensure your success in this role. You have an interest in the charitable sector, learning about environmental conservation and climate change issues and want to work at a local organization, rooted in community, while educating and encouraging people to help build a healthier and more sustainable world. Apply and tell us what you’d bring to the team.   WHAT YOU BRING   A strong interest and passion for the health of our environment Exemplary communication skills and ability to relate to people face-to-face Ability to build rapport and resiliency to deal with rejection without becoming discouraged Positive attitude, professional, self-driven and a willingness to learn Being reliable and flexible to work evenings and some weekends Ability to travel extensively, work outdoors, walk and stand for long periods Background in sales and/or customer service with a proven track record of meeting individual gaols, fundraising or sales quotas Previous work experience as a canvasser and/or interest in developing a career in fundraising is beneficial Some education in communications, journalism, marketing is considered an asset   Other skills and experience considered an asset:  Willingness to travel in NS and reliable transportation as needed If you possess exceptional leadership skills, we invite you to share your expertise with us. We are currently seeking a talented individual to join us as the lead canvasser.
