Vernon Nissan is looking to hire an Apprentice Technician with a passion for the automotive industry and servicing our customers. Responsibilities: Follow procedures to inspect and test vehicles Performing the work described in the work orders efficiently and accurately, based on the dealership and manufacturer standards Determining the cause of any defect and completing the required repairs effectively and efficiently Perform standard mechanical repairs such as changing brake pads, oil changes and tires Quote labour, time and parts cost estimates Maintain the workshop and customer areas and keeping inventory areas well-organized Requirements: Can work independently and as part of a team Valid driver's license Organized and pays attention to detail Excellent communication skills Wage: Starting at $25 per hour Benefits: Company events Extended medical and dental benefits Paid time off Schedule: 8am-4:30pm; Monday to Friday Vernon Nissan has grown to become a premier auto dealer in the Okanagan region.
