Responsibilities: Inspection and Diagnosis: Conduct thorough examinations and identify faults or issues within agricultural machinery to ensure optimal performance. Equipment Repair and Service: Implement necessary repairs and maintenance activities on agricultural equipment, ensuring longevity and peak efficiency. Tool and Technology Application: Leverage specialized tools, advanced technologies, and innovative methodologies to diagnose and execute intricate repair tasks. Preventative Maintenance: Adhere to documented preventative maintenance schedules and standards, working meticulously to ensure the optimal functioning of equipment and related components. Knowledge Upkeep: Remain abreast of the latest advancements in John Deere agriculture products to deliver informed and proficient service. Diagnostic Acumen: Employ diagnostic tools and basic computer operations effectively in identifying and addressing mechanical issues. Continuous Learning: Engage actively in John Deere University sessions and dealer-sponsored training programs to continuously refine and amplify your skill set and technical capabilities. Requirements: A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in complex service repairs and maintenance of heavy machinery. A Journeyperson Agricultural Technician certification or an equivalent qualification in a relevant mechanical domain such as Heavy Equipment or Automotive mechanics. Proven competency in using diagnostic tools and basic computer functionalities. An unwavering dedication to providing outstanding customer support. Strong attention to detail and a deep-rooted sense of pride in workmanship. Capacity to function both autonomously and collaboratively within a team framework. Valid driver's license with the willingness to travel as needed.
