Salary and Benefits Salary: $31.50 per hourOvertime and Vacation PayStable & full-time employmentWork-life balance through flexible and accommodating work environment Job Responsibilities Determine the layout of the plumbing system, water supply network, and waste and drainage systems by studying blueprints, drawings, and specifications. Diagnose, install, and repair plumbing fixtures, pipes, and drainage systems. Mark and locate pipe connections, passage holes, and fixtures on walls and floors. Install, repair, and maintain domestic and commercial plumbing fixtures and systems. Join pipes using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement, soldering, brazing, and welding equipment. Test pipes for leaks using air and water pressure gauges. Ensure that local and provincial safety regulations are met. Make openings in walls and floors to accommodate pipes and fittings. Measure, cut, bend and thread pipes using hand and power tools or machines. Replace any products or equipment that do not meet current safety regulations. Perform regular inspections of pipes and plumbing fixtures. Layout the plumbing system in a new building or during a home renovation. Communicate with co-workers, other trades and take decisions in emergency situations. Job Requirements Completion of Secondary School Completion of 4-5-year apprenticeship program OR minimum 2-3 years of experience Trade certification in plumbing would be an asset Sound judgment, analysis & problem-solving skills Strong oral & written communication skills How to apply?
