Update June 22, 2023 - The staff were in for a bit of a surprise, because it turns out that I'm pregnant! My babies will be coming into the world mid-late July, and they'll need me for a few months after that until they are fully weaned and able to find loving homes of their own. At that time, I will be looking for a home of my own. If you would be interested in adopting me once I am medically cleared, feel free to submit an application, but be aware that it will be a few months until I am ready to go home. Hello, I'm Maeve! I have found my way to the Rocky Mountains to find my forever home. I think I am a great size of dog - not too big, not too small - and a heart of gold! The vets think I'm about a year or two old because all my adult teeth are in (and looking nice I might add)! I am a little timid, as this new world with all the new humans and buildings and cars is a lot for me. I am quick to trust and I would say I am navigating this new chapter of my life with curiosity and grace! Each day I find myself making more progress and discovering that most things aren't that scary! I am even letting my playful side come out a bit. I love the great outdoors and I seem to feel safest there. A back yard would be a real treat! I am young and spry - so some human companions that like to adventure would be my cup of tea!
