Quinn- Cp, Domestic Longhair For Adoption In Toronto, Ontario

Price:
$200
Location:
Toronto, ON
Description:

DOB: January 29, 2020 Please note, this is a posting through the Courtesy Adoption Program. Please contact the current owner directly for more details. Their details are below.Quinn requires a very experienced & extremely patient owner who does not have small children or any other pets in the home.Quinn is almost 3 years old and was saved from a home of abuse, which has left her with PTSD. She is very affectionate, sweet and cuddly. When we first met Quinn, she was anxious and easily triggered into extremely violent outbursts. As a result, she has been prescribed medication. The medication has been working well with managing her PTSD and she is easy to medicate. She takes 1 pill every 24 hours in the evening with her dinner and we have not had any further bouts of aggression since. She is currently being cared for in a home with other cats, which inhibits her ability to make more progress. She does not do well with other animals. It has taken us a few months to get to a point where Quinn fully trusts us. Once she does trust you, she turns into the most loving and loyal cat ever. She loves to snuggle on top of her humans with her face pressed right against yours, and will paw at you for more attention. She is also quite expressive and will announce everything she does with copious amounts of trills, chirrups, and chirps. Despite not being the most coordinated with general cat toys, she is incredibly agile with trapping her wand toys and the laser dot. Her favourite pastimes include; snuggling, lengthy brush sessions, laser dot hunting, and watching the world outside from the safety of her cat tree. Oh, and she has a thing about sniffing feet - it’s kinda like her version of a handshake. This is not a case for the faint of heart. If you are courageous, experienced, and looking to help save a life, having Quinn at her best will be an incredible reward.Quinn is participating in our Courtesy Adoption Posting Program and is not the property of Toronto Cat Rescue. Toronto Cat Rescue does not accept responsibility for any pet placements that result from this service. If you need more info or would like to adopt please contact Jordan at XXXX@gmail.com Thank you!Adoption processAdoption fee is $200 per adult cat, and $250 for kittens (under 8 months old). This ensures that the cats that come into our care receive the attention they need, are spayed or neutered, and receive a rabies vaccination at the appropriate age. For City of Toronto residents, the adoption fee includes a mandatory City of Toronto cat license that is valid for one year. As you can imagine, these fees only begin to cover our costs; donations and ongoing fundraising efforts carry us the rest of the way! Note: -Senior cats (8 years or older) have an adoption fee of the adopter's choice, vs. our standard adult adoption fee of $200.-Our adoption fee for an adult bonded pair (8 months or older) is $150 per cat vs. $200 per cat. Thanks for giving two loving friends a home together!
