Are you an experienced truck driver who enjoys being home at night? We are currently looking for a friendly and reliable Class 5 Truck Driver to join our transportation team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting goods to various locations.This is a fantastic opportunity that values its employees and offers competitive compensation.Responsibilities Safely operate and drive trucks to transport goods to customer locations Load and unload cargo, ensuring that it is properly secured Plan delivery routes and ensure timely and efficient deliveries Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and report any maintenance needs Follow traffic regulations and drive defensively to maintain safety on the road Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logbooks and receipts Provide excellent customer service and uphold a positive company image Requirements Valid Class 5 driver's license Minimum of 2 years of truck driving experience, preferably in the transportation industry Clean driving record with no major violations or accidents Knowledge of transportation regulations and safety protocols Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Ability to work independently and make decisions in a timely manner Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
