Class 1 Driver - Long Haul

Description:
Responsibilities Transport goods and materials over long distances, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations. Plan routes efficiently, optimizing mileage and fuel consumption. Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper securing techniques are used. Conduct routine inspections of the vehicle, identifying and reporting any mechanical issues. Maintain accurate records of each trip, including mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery times. Communicate effectively with operations, providing updates on location and estimated arrival times. Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies while on the job site. Requirements Valid Class 1 driver's license with a clean driving record. Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Class 1 driver, preferably in a long haul capacity. Experience in Reefer Trailers Experienced in Winter and Mountain driving. Strong knowledge of transportation regulations and best practices. Ability to operate and navigate a variety of vehicles, including tractor-trailers and reefer trailers. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with operations, customers, and fellow team members. Flexibility to work long hours, including weekends and holidays, as required.
