Meet Charlotte and Babe! "Our foster mom says we are very curious and sweet girls. She's right! We love each other very much and often cuddle together (or occasionally steal each other's food!). Speaking of food, we've been enjoying trying new things. So far our favourites are yellow bell pepper and romaine, but we've also tried cucumber and blueberries. And of course we love our timothy hay! Next up on our list to try are apples, broccoli, cherry tomatoes and carrots. Don't worry! Foster mom carefully monitors how much we should/do get and makes sure she doesn't introduce too many new things at once. We are still shy but are getting braver each day. We now come out to greet foster mom when she comes into our room and wheek, wheek, wheek. We also enjoy popcorning frequently to show our pleasure and fun loving nature. We're still getting used to human hands. Charlotte is more at the "just sniffing" stage. I have graduated to being brushed with the toothbrush foster mom got us, and occasionally letting her give me a pet, when I feel like she needs a special treat. Every day we have a low ebb time in the early afternoon. Mom calls this nap time. She's on holidays now so she and our foster sister, Chloe the cat, nap in the living room next door while we sleep our hidey holes in our pen in the den, which has now been renamed The GP Lounge. Sometimes my sister and I both like something so much we have a lady and the tramp spaghetti moment and eat from each end of right up to each others' mouths!"
