Rescued several months ago from the freezing cold, River has been “thawing” in the shelter, growing more confident and more comfortable day by day. With his melting gaze and lush coat, he’s captured everyone’s heart, and has not only grown accustomed to but welcomes head pets and cheek and chin rubs, often asking paw-litely for even more. Now a fastidious self-groomer and famously fond of wet food, River really hopes to continue life’s loving journey with patient and attentive adopters in a tranquil fur-ever home. However we also have a partnership with Pet Value in Aurora (Bayview and Aurora Road) where many cats and kittens are also housed. We attend local Fairs, Events such as "All About Pets" Show in Toronto, for example, and other fund-raising events during the year in the Toronto area.
