***IN FOSTER***Lumi will light up your life!This luminous calico was surrendered to EHS from a multi-cat household because of perceived attachment issues. Having been head over heels for one of her human caregivers since kittenhood, Lumi didn't adjust well to him leaving the home for work. Apparently, when Lumi falls for a human, she falls hard. Now, Lumi is looking to brighten up the life of someone special by showering them with all the love she has to give. This lovely lady's radiant personality truly shines! Lumi isn't afraid to ask for what she wants, which happens to be a good dose of affection. She isn't shy about head bonking her foster mom, or even complete strangers, to seek attention. Lumi loves snuggles so much you'll often find her cozying up on any available lap, or snoozing in bed with her foster mom. When she's in the mood to play, her go-to toy is a crunch ball, which allows her to show off her impressive acrobatic skills. She'll balance on a chair rung and bat it around, and if you toss it in the air, she'll jump as high as she can to catch it. An avid conversationalist, this incandescent beauty enjoys a good chat. Chasing string toys, rolling in catnip, and being brushed also rank high on Lumi's list of preferred activities. Ever curious, she likes to explore her house, particularly closets, and climb up high to get a good look at her surroundings. Lumi also loves watching cat videos on YouTube! She'll watch them by herself, but she especially loves to watch them in bed while snuggling up with her foster mom before going to sleep. Lumi is unquestionably a people's cat and would do best as the only cat in the household. This shining lass would thrive in a quiet home where she can sparkle with frequent human company. Aglow with love, she has plenty of affection to share with all two-legged creatures, including kids. As mentioned, Lumi experienced some attachment issues in her previous home, to the point of having some litter box mishaps. During her time with us, we've learned that Lumi is capable of impeccable litter box habits if she has access to at least two litter boxes and is not confined to any rooms. Take home an adult feline friend for your kitty and the adoption fee for the pair is $300! For kittens under six months of age, the adoption fee is $200... Or double your cuteness quotient and adopt two wee furballs for $350! If you mix and match (kitten plus cat), the adoption fee is $300. Each of our cats is spayed/neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, snap tested for FIV/FeLV, dewormed, and flea treated prior to adoption.
