Age: 6 monthsMeet Sweet Sable! Sable was just a baby when she was surrendered to us after her owners could no longer care for her. Sable went to foster, where she was able to gain confidence as she grew big and strong enough for her spay surgery. Sable's foster family tells us that she was very nervous initially but once she feels comfortable, she now really enjoys pets and will even "tooth purr" for you. Sable's new humans should anticipate a transition period as she gains confidence in her new home, but our adoption team can help give you some tips for success. Like any rabbit, Sable will appreciate a spacious pen, with free roam time each day, and lots of fresh hay, green veggies, and chew toys. Sable has lived with rabbits in the past, and may appreciate a bunny friend, but her social needs can also be met through spending time with her people.
