** The Calgary Humane Society currently has an assortment of Common and Bristlenose Plecos available for adoption! Choose your own adoption fee for all fish, shrimp and snails. Bags are available for small species, but we kindly ask that you come prepared with your own method of transportation for larger fish. If you have questions or would like care advice, please contact us at XXXX@calgaryhumane.ca **Introducing our Pleco squad, the underwater clean-up crew you've been dreaming of! Known to be large and in charge, the common pleco may grow to be 18-24 inches long - a size that is not to be underestimated! To keep these gentle giants happy and healthy, a large tank with adequate filtration is a must. Unlike their common cousins, bristlenose plecos tend to stay on the smaller side, making them suitable for a larger variety of tanks.
