Please note that if you’re approved to adopt, you’ll need to pick them up from the store within 24 hours of being approved.Hello, my name is Churro! I am a 3 month old male kitten. I am a light brown tabby with a black tipped tail. I’m a friendly and playful little guy so if you’re looking for a kitten to hang out with you all day then I might be the one for you!I love to play with all sorts of toys. Lately, my favourite has been the cat tunnel but I will play with anything that moves or makes noise. I won’t normally sit on your lap if you’re on the couch or a chair, but if you sit on the floor, I will happily climb on to your legs for snuggles and pets. During the day my go to napping spot is a cardboard box. My foster parents keep a few boxes on the floor for me and I usually move around from box to box depending on where the sun is shining.I am still quite young and I have yet to learn that I should not use my claws and teeth when playing with humans. Because of this, I should not be adopted into a household with young children. I also have a lot of kitten energy that I usually burn by wrestling with my siblings. It would be best if I was adopted into a home with one of my brothers, Tamal and Horchata, or another young cat. If you already have a cat or dog in the house, I would get along with them great as long as we got a proper introduction. I am really good at using the litter box, eating, and drinking. Please call 416-538-XXXX, or email XXXX@torontocatrescue.ca.An adoption counsellor will return your call and give you more details about the cat you are interested in and ask some questions about your home to make sure the cat will be a "purr-fect" fit. We are happy to answer any questions you may have as well.You will be supplied with the foster home address to have a meet and greet with your kitty. If both parties are happy, you can sign the TCR Contract of Adoption, pay the adoption fee and take your cat home with you in a safe carrying case.Adoption fee is $200 per adult cat, and $225 for kittens (under 8 months old). This ensures that the cats that come into our care receive the attention they need, are spayed or neutered, and receive a rabies vaccination at the appropriate age. For City of Toronto residents, the adoption fee includes a mandatory City of Toronto cat license that is valid for one year. As you can imagine, these fees only begin to cover our costs; donations and ongoing fundraising efforts carry us the rest of the way!Note: 1. Senior cats (8 years or older) have an adoption fee of the adopter's choice, vs. our standard adoption fee of $200 or $225.2. Our adoption fee for an adult bonded pair (8 months or older) is $125 per cat vs. $200 per cat.
