"Hey guys, long time no see. I am Valerie or Val for short. I came to KLAWS in November 2021 with an estimated date of birth of June 19, 2017. I have been with KLAWS for a bit now, learning all the great things about being a cat. I love spending time out of my foster room with all of my other furry foster siblings, both cats and dogs. The dogs sometimes try to tell me what to do, but I don't really care much anymore and do what I want any ways. I love to sleep in bed or near my foster humans. I have been having meals in the kitchen with my foster fur siblings and know the sound of the treat jar." Valerie will need to remain on her current Hills Prescription Diet C/D Multicare Stress, both wet and dry, as she has previously had sporadic bouts of hematuria due to stress. Since Valerie has left the shelter and entered our care she has not had any occurrences at all in her foster home. She will require measured, timed feedings as she is currently the perfect weight and size. Valerie would enjoy the company of a similar personality friend with slow and proper introductions. Her forever home and family should be a calmer and quiet environment. Our pets need their own safe space for the first little while to help them become familiar with their new surroundings (environment, smells, sounds, people, pets, etc) to be successful and comfortable in their forever home.
