ROLLIN ISLAND AUTOS is looking for a full time Automotive Technician to join our team in our busy Campbell River location. Our ideal candidate has a passion for the automotive industry!We are thinking outside the box on this one, and feel this is an amazing opportunity for the right person. How about a 4 day work week with every weekend being a long weekend? And how about a small family style location where you can make a difference, but that is part of a growing auto group with 9 other dealership locations to be a part of something exciting? We've got you covered. Responsibilities: Promotes dealership by presenting professional image, positive attitude, and clean work area Road tests vehicles to ensure repairs are completed properly Suggests additional work that is needed to the Service Advisor Completes service and repair assignments correctly, to pass quality inspections or test drives Collects all necessary information before requesting parts (e.g., model year, etc.) Maintains sufficient personally-owned tools; keeps tools in good working order Notifies Service Advisor if delays are expected Submits all claims promptly Promotes a productive working relationship with others Provides clear and legible record of service completed for both customer and dealership use Requirements: Full knowledge and ability to perform all automotive repairs Maintain a tidy workspace Have your own tools Have a valid driver's license Can work independently Schedule: Monday through Thursday, 10 hours per day (40 hours per week) - EVERY WEEKEND IS A LONG WEEKEND! Wage: Depending on experience; $35-$45 per hour Annual boot and tool allowance Experience: Automotive technician: 3 years minimum experience Rollin Island Autos specializes in providing our customers with a great selection of quality, affordable used vehicles, with many options below $10,000!
