We are currently looking for a dedicated and safety-minded Bus Driver to join our team in Whitehorse, Yukon. As a Bus Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient transport of passengers. Job Description * Safely transport passengers on assigned routes and adhere to specified timings * Manage passenger behavior quickly and effectively solving problems * Conduct a pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the bus is in good working condition * Provide superior customer service and assist with passenger questions/inquiries * Follow traffic regulations and company policies to ensure a safe and secure journey * Maintain radio contact with base and use proper communication protocol * Maintain a clean and organized bus interior Employment Requirements * Valid Class 1 or 2 driver's license * Ability to work a full-time schedule, 7 hours per day, 5 days per week * Clean driver's abstract * Clear criminal record and vulnerable sector check * Negative drug and alcohol testing * Air brake endorsement or willing to obtain * Highway driving experience * Strong communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to handle various weather and road conditions * Punctuality and reliability are essential
