About the Practice: Located in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA), well-respected practice is looking to recruit one (1) full- time Medical Glaucoma/Comprehensive Ophthalmologist to fill an immediate vacancy. As the largest private Ophthalmology office in Ontario, this practice is a 7 site, nearly 40 MD / OD practice that services a catchment area of 7 million patients and 13 Ontario hospitals. This practice houses every major subspecialty (except for pediatrics) as well as providing optometric services. About the Medical Glaucoma/Comprehensive Ophthalmologist Role: This position will largely focus on a providing medical glaucoma care, with a small contribution of time towards general ophthalmology for purpose of emergency coverage. Resources include the latest in laser and imaging. This practice has a fully functional research program, and if interested, candidates would be welcome to initiate and/or participate in research endeavors. Cataract surgical resources are also available. Additionally, this practice offers a full scope refractive surgery and private cataract surgery suite (via our sister group) which the successful candidate is welcome to access. For the interested Ophthalmologist, proctoring in the latest refractive surgery and premium intraocular lens technology is available through the practice founders.
