Company : Raddall Development Limited Job Title : Baker Positions : 1 Hours : 40-44 hours per week Job description : One full-time, permanent Baker is required immediately at our Halifax location. The pay offered is $15 per hour. Atleast 1 year to less than 2 years of experience is highly desirable. Job Description Prioritize cleanliness, following HACCP, Health, and Workplace Safety standards at all times Prepare dry ingredients/baking cakes, frostings, and fillings according to rumrunner cake recipes Bake mixed selection of cakes, specific to gluten-free in case required Work as part of a small team to bake following carefully crafted rumrunners cake and adding new sugar-free recipes. Be responsible for reading production schedules and recipes, measuring and mixing ingredients, moulding and shaping dough, decorating cakes, and packing etc. and processing everything through the ovens. Work alongside the team to keep the bakery clean, and contribute to a great customer experience. Provide customer service to meet customer needs Perform bakery administration Prepare baked items and cakes for customer purchase Maintain bakery production area Provide bakery training to new staff whenever needed Adhere to and implement all applicable company standards A minimum high school graduate certificate with good English communication and comprehending skills is required. Under the direction of the Owner, prepare rumrunners speciality cakes for customer purchases. Actively contribute to an environment of employee and customer engagement.
