UPDATE: Hello all you marvelous people who are reading this! My sister, Kati, and I are happy, active, social dogs who just love life in Canada. The removal of one of my hind legs has not slowed me down. Unfortunately, after a year and a half of us being adopted, our adopter has had a major illness arise and so is unable to continue to care for us. She is so sad to be rehoming us but she knows that my sister and I will bring joy into a new home, just as we have with our current adopter.As my sister and I are so very close to each other, we need to be adopted together. Double the joy and fun...who could resist us, eh?! We are good natured family members who LOVE time with our humans, especially when we go adventuring in nature. We would just love a home with a back yard and even some kids to play with (as long as they are gentle with us). One day she came to feed us and found us in bad shape. My sister & I were was mutilated by a shaman. My sister had an injury on her back and my leg ended up having to be amputated, due to the injury.Thankfully, due to some wonderful rescuers we are both recovered and ready for a home... together. We are quite bonded. After rescue, we were taken to 2 different shelters, then reunited after a month. Night and day difference. We went from depressed to happy, confident pups. This made it clear to the rescuers we need to remain together.I am still quite active and missing a leg doesn't slow me down any.I love getting pets. I play well together with my sister and with other dogs. No issues with food protectiveness either. What I like is to seek closeness with humans. I'm a gentle and friendly girl.
