Spirit Edmonton is looking to fill immediate opening as a full–time, permanent, Warehouse Worker, working with our Edmonton, AB warehouse client! What You’ll Do: Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: Pick and pack products from the warehouse shelves onto pallets for internal and external customers according to the order sheets Ensure all orders are checked for correct products and quantities. Report any discrepancies Load and unload with the product as required Prioritize your orders according to date, or expected date for urgent orders Prepare paperwork as required such as order labelling, transfer document and racking tracker Perform daily safety check of equipment for safe operation before using Ensure all aisles are free from obstruction • Assisting team members as necessary Other duties as assigned You will also be expected to… Lift up to 50 lbs for up to 6-7 hours a day Walk, bend, and kneel constantly throughout the day Operate pallet jack and forklift Work in a fast paced, busy warehouse Have a strong attention to detail Use a computer regularly Follow all health and safety protocols Qualifications and Experience: 2+ years of warehouse experience required Valid class 5 driver’s license required Must pass Criminal Record Check if needed Forklift experience preferred but not a requirement Computer experience Excellent attention to detail, customer service, time management and organizational skills is required Great teamwork and team-building skills Strong communication skills (both oral and written) Professional demeanor under stressful situations Self-directed and self-motivated Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities; and Punctual, dependable, and reliable • Safety-conscious We thank all candidates for their interest, however, only individuals selected for an interview will be contacted.
