B Pressure Welders $45.00 Camp & Accommodations Paid Spirit Employment & Training Edmonton Inc. is hiring B Pressure Welders. The successful candidates will be responsible for providing support on our shutdown and turnaround projects starting 2023. These positions require working 12-hour days with a lot of overtime. Spirit Employment and Training is looking for experienced B Pressure Welders for shutdown work starting in June 2023. Details: Start Date : June Length of Assignment : Temporary Location : Ontario, Alberta, others Sites: Pulp Mill Responsibilities To weld pressure equipment (pressure vessels, piping, carbon, stainless) in accordance with the respective ASME codes, TDE’s WPS, and QC Manual. Read and follow blue print drawings. Inform the Foreman and/or the Supervisor of any issues or concerns with material, quality, print discrepancy, etc. Communicate thoughts and ideas clearly, directly, honestly and with respect for others. Actively participate in departmental and/or TDE annual or quarterly initiatives. Approach problems with a solution orientated attitude. Qualifications Must be a Journeyman Welder. Must have a B Welding Ticket. Interprovincial Red Seal is considered an asset. Ability to weld any of the following processes: SMAW, GMAW, GTAW FCAW, SAW. Working knowledge of fabrication, manufacturing, and construction. Proficient knowledge of industry best practices. Proven ability to produce high-quality work while facing competing priorities and strict deadlines. Ability to prioritize activities, adapt to change, and stay focused in a dynamic environment. Strong time management and organizational skills. Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to interact positively with all levels of staff.
