Energy Safety Canada Instructors We are looking for Certified Energy Safety Canada Instructors to join our team. Knowledge in Oil & Gas Industry is preferred seeing as most of our workers are in the Trades. Instructors will work in a demonstrative environment with groups of people. Must have the ability to create a positive and relaxed environment with the group and sufficient knowledge to answer questions and act out hypothetical situations. Certification in H2S Alive, Confined Spaces and Fall Protection. Any Additional ESC Training will be considered. Trainers are required in Edmonton and often to travel to remote locations where they will be training and assessing. There can mean long journeys and possible overnight stays throughout Alberta. Travel expenses and overnight accommodations included . Qualifications Possess their own vehicle; or means of travel as transportation of equipment to courses will be a necessity. Must have own demonstration equipment Must pass Criminal Check Skills Instructor should have excellent interpersonal skills so as to create a comfortable environment where people can learn easily and feel relaxed enough to ask questions. Instructors need to: Be confident and have the ability to speak clearly and get their point across effectively. need to be confident in public speaking and demonstration Speak fluent English and be able to speak simply Be able to teach and keep students engaged Be friendly, approachable and patient with questions Have the ability to work flexible hours, may also require travel to remote communities in Alberta Have an in-depth understanding of customer care and health and safety procedures Powered by JazzHR
