STAFF VACANCY – Day and Stay Program Expanded Program Lead Full Time 1 position DUTIES: The Incumbent will work under the supervision of the Manager of the Day and Stay Program/Designate by providing direct and indirect care as required in collaboration with other health care workers. Duties will include: performing personal care, observing and reporting changes in client physical and emotional conditions, dealing tactfully and courteously with clients, community partners, and families. The incumbent must be able to provide risk management and IPAC measures. The position may include weekends. The hours are 7-3 one week and 12-8 the next week. The incumbent will be required to perform on-call duties. This is a 7.5-hour shift. QUALIFICATIONS: -graduate of an approved Registered Practical Nurse Program -Hold a current College of Nurses of Ontario certificate in Competency -Demonstrate satisfactory experience as an RPN -Good physical and mental health -Demonstrate strong positive personal and interpersonal communication skills, both verbally and written.
