Company Details The Detroit Pizza Bar is a Modern Trendy Eatery with a full-service restaurant and bars complete with a rooftop terrace. The focus of Detroit Pizza Bar is of course pizza, offering vegan and gluten-free options along with a full urban Italian menu. DPB is a hybrid between fine dining and casual dining restaurants. We seek to disrupt the urban dining model in two ways first; by offering more responsive tables and customer service. Location Detroit Pizza Bar will be located in the Liv|6 neighborhood. The physical address is 7316 West McNichols St, Detroit MI. This will be a 4,500 square foot commercial building, with a rooftop terrace that will service 198 patrons. Job summary: Responsible for removing all the used dishes and tableware and professionally preparing the table for new guests. This role serves to expedite the restaurant floor and seat guests promptly. Pay: $10.00-$1 2 .00 per hour, based on experience. Part-time position The Busser responsibilities and duties: As a busser, you play an essential role in delighting and serving our guests while keeping our restaurants spotless, sanitized, and safe. Our bussers ensure the dining room is always clean, disinfected, and an inviting atmosphere for our guests to enjoy. As a busser, you will assist our servers in providing excellent service to ensure guest satisfaction, as well as a firm commitment to the highest safety and sanitation standards. The Busser position requires the ability to perform the following: Removes all dishes and other items from the table following the meal Cleans and prepares table for new guests following the Company’s standards Performs cleaning side work as assigned Completes all service paperwork as required Performs other work-related duties as assigned Provide an energetic, outgoing, fun personality while maintaining professionalism. Offer polite, professional, and courteous customer service. Support serving staff, assisting them in ensuring that all customer needs are met in an expedient, courteous, and professional manner. Maintain service stations in a clean and orderly manner throughout shift. Clear and clean tables promptly. Reset tables according to the specifications of the restaurant. Offer polite, professional, and courteous customer service. Communicate effectively with co-workers. Maintain a clean and orderly work area to ensure safety. Clear all empty tables and set tables for new guests. Restock service stations. Work Experience Requirements: Must be at least age 18 or older. Communication skills are utilized a significant amount of time when interacting with guests, cooks, wait staff, and supervisors. Reading and writing abilities are utilized often when taking orders, completing paperwork, etc. Mathematical skills, including basic math, are used frequently. Physical stamina to lift and carry heavy items (dishes, tubs, etc.) Previous restaurant experience strongly preferred High energy and stamina are required Ability to stay calm and work efficiently under pressure Ability to prioritize job duties and manage time effectively Ability to read menus, safety documents, and other work-related documents May be required to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays. Educational Requirements: High school diploma or GED or working toward.
