My name is Nilla (pronounced like Nyla) and I'm a lab/pyrenees mix. I'm 5 mos old and super sweet. I've got a super soft cream coat with freckles on my belly and nose. I'm pretty goofy and love love love the outdoors. I ring bells to be let out and my ideal day would be to lay in the snow, chew sticks, and play with my foster sister dog. I really like going on nature walks and collecting sticks along the way. I'm a bit of a foodie and my preferred style is "now you see it, now you don't". So now I have to eat with a puzzle bowl but I enjoy the challenge. I sleep in my crate at night and play and sunbath during the day. I would love an acreage and other dogs to play with. Did I mention I'm an outdoor enthusiast and snow is my jam? There is no such thing as a cold day in my world. I'm pretty much house trained...I only have accidents in the house if no one listens to the bells I'm ringing...I may ring them just to play outside. I know sit, down, off, stay, bedtime, outside, busy busy, in your crate, on your bed, not yours, and come. I'm learning not to run out open doors but to wait until it's okay. I haven't been around children but I'm like a marshmallow - soft, lovable, gentle, and a bit clumsy. I love my foster dad, mom, teenagers, and the senior dog (that I know rules the roost) and a 2 yr old dog that wrestles and plays with me. I'm a bit sensitive when it comes to car travel. I whine in the backseat which I think is a fair warning that I'm going to get sick and yet the humans still look surprised! I can handle small drives but not multiple errands yet. We're working on that now. I just need some practice.I'm ready for my forever family and can't wait to give you snuggles and make you laugh.
