Roxie's journey began three years ago when she was found, tied to a fence, left with a past we can only imagine. Today, she's 5 years old, 57 lbs, and patiently waiting for her forever family. Roxanne has come a long way, but she does have some "stranger danger" tendencies, and trust doesn't come easy. We've been diligently working with her, but it's been a slow process. To ensure Roxie finds the perfect home, we're looking for a special adopter—someone who understands the value of patience, love, and structure. Roxie thrives with proper introductions to dogs and would be best suited to a quiet household with no kids. Here's what makes Roxanne truly special: She's a clever girl who knows commands like "stay," "sit," and "OK" as her release cue from a sitting position.Roxie walks beautifully on a leash and adores car rides.She has a zest for playtime, loves her toys, and enjoys going on adventurous walks.
