Meet Jonas! This is what Jonas's foster home has to say about him:"Jonas, aka Smokey began by hiding constantly, but he now rests and sleeps anywhere he likes, preferring to be close to where his foster Mom is working. He is respectful of the older cats, but not cowed by them, and wishes they were as playful as he is. His favourite toy is a feather wand, followed by plastic springs and a stuffy laced with catnip. Jonas/Smokey is very curious about anything new. He is balcony tested (6th floor) and has made no attempt to get up on the railing even with birds flying close by, or landing on the railing, but they do intrigue him. Jonas/Smokey is comfortable with being touched, recognizing invitations, and asking for strokes. He greets his foster Mom when she gets up in the morning and when she returns from errands. He freely head-butts and rubs up against her legs, especially at mealtimes, and expects strokes before he begins eating! Recently he laid on foster Mom's lap and stayed there for head scritches and photos. Jonas/Smokey is talkative when he wants something. His foster Mom doesn't always know what that is, but when he gets it (usually a toy), he shuts up. He will be a very attentive and active companion."
