Koopa (M) is a 1 year old old mastiff mix. He is currently living at a kennel waiting for a foster home. First Impressions:-Good with other dogs, can be a big pushy puppy and be too much for some dogs-Unknown with cats-Good with kids (although Koopa is very large and playful, and can knock people over)-Medium energy-Ok in strong crate, has figured he can break out of a plastic crate. Calm in crate.-Mostly housetrained, sometimes Koopa gets distracted playing with his canine friends and forgets to go to the bathroom, so treating him like a puppy for the first few weeks would be an asset.- Loves training-Learning to walk well on transitional leash-Best traits: Fun loving, friendly goofball! -Needs work: Koopa is a big puppy in a full adult sized body! He can be easily overstimulated and always wants to be part of the fun! He would benefit from conditioning calmness and place exercises, as well as working on his crate training and leash skills.
