We are seeking an Administrative Assistant, Medical to join our busy practice and to establish and maintain office procedures and routines. This is a full-time, permanent position based in Maple Ridge, BC Position Details: Company Name: Albion Animal HospitalPosition: Administrative Assistant, MedicalNumber of Positions: 1Terms of employment: Full Time, PermanentWages: $27.50-28.50 per hourAnticipated Start Date: As soon as possibleBusiness & work location: 11939 240 St #160, Maple Ridge, BC V4R 1M7 Job Responsibilities: Schedule and confirm appointments Complete insurance and other claim forms Maintain filing system Perform general clerical work, such as order supplies and maintain inventory Determine and establish office procedures and routines Enter and format electronically based medical reports and correspondence and prepare spreadsheets and documents for review Initiate and maintain confidential medical files and records Prepare draft agendas for meetings and take, transcribe and distribute minutes. Job Requirements: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years 1 Year to less than 2 Years of relevant experience Must have excellent English (verbal, written) communication skills.
