Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent Language: English Start Date of Employment (Approx.): As soon as possible Minimum Education: Post-Secondary Education Positions Available: 1NOC title- Physiotherapist AssistantNOC Group- Other technical occupations in therapy and assessment (NOC 32109)Job Location (s)Unit- 103, 8556 120 StreetSurrey, British Columbia V3W 3N5 Duties/Responsibilities: Promote patients health by aiding with physiotherapy services under the direction of a physiotherapist Assist the physiotherapist in organizing specialized services such as massages, acupuncture, electrotherapy, laser therapy, hydrotherapy, etc. Provide knowledge and consult the patients about exercises and movements that can be performed at home Assessment of treatment programs or recommend courses of action/modifications in treatments based on the patients health progress Conduct physical examinations and assist the patients in using clinic equipment safely Prepare the patient and the environment for treatment as directed by the Physiotherapist Evaluate performance and report on patients medical record Prepare documentation to support the delivery of physiotherapy services Assist patients in using supportive devices, such as crutches or canes Clean medical equipment and maintain inventory of equipment supplies Maintain hygiene and a clean working environment by adhering to the procedures, rules, and regulations, and complying with infection-control policies and protocols.
