SONDH FREIGHT SYSTEMS INC. SONDH FREIGHT SYSTEMS INC. has an immediate opening for a Dispatch Supervisor (NOC : 1215) at our location in Bolton, Ontario. As a Dispatch Supervisor, you will perform some or all of the following duties : Dispatch Supervisor perform some or all of the following duties : Co-ordinate, Assigns routes and service tickets to appropriate Drivers throughout the day and for the next day; close service tickets each day Plan, organize and oversee operational logistics of the organization, Gather and maintain route sheet documentation for pick-ups (scheduled, missed, extra pickups), route completions and driver locations. establish work schedules and procedures. Ensure route completion via the driver check-in process Report delays, mechanical problems and accidents Work in a team with shared supervisory responsibilities Report driver performance issues or concerns to appropriate management to resolve work-related issues prepare and submit progress and other reports Communicates with maintenance shop personnel regarding emergency road services Dispatch bus drivers and monitor routes Train workers in job duties, safety procedures and company policies Requisition supplies and materials Ensure smooth operation of the systems, equipment and machinery and arrange for maintenance and repair work Ensures same-day service on missed pick-ups by coordinating Driver movement in the field Records and documents information from drivers and distributes to appropriate departments Required skills and qualifications : Completion of secondary school is required. 1 to 2 years of experience in the occupation supervised is required. Must be able to communicate effectively and professionally via e-mail, telephone, and 2 way devices Good time management skills to ensure assigned responsibilities are completed in an efficient and safe manner Ability to work in a team environment.
