Jamie & John were surrendered into our care due to no fault of their own. They are bonded and rely heavily on each other for confidence and comfort. They must be adopted together and will have a special adoption fee.John is a handsome black cat with a small white patch on his chest and beautiful yellow eyes. He is a playful cat and enjoys playing with the ball tower. He prefers to not be picked up. Once he gets to know you John also enjoys being petted.This pair is looking for a nice quiet home that will be patient with them as they settle into their new environment. They may hide for the first little bit as they get used to the smells and sounds of their new home. Ideally, they would have their own room where they could live for the first little while. This would allow their new family to spend time with them and allow them to settle in a smaller space without overwhelming them with the whole home.We are looking for an adult-only home or a home with children over the age of 8 years. Staff thinks they could live with other cats as they don't seem bothered by them here. They have not been dog tested but this could be arranged with an approved application. The dog in the home would need to be quiet and well-mannered with cats.Despite being shy, Jamie & John are ready for their second chance! They are both fixed and have had their vaccinations since arriving in our care. They have been sponsored and their special adoption fee is $200 for the pair.If you have the time to get to know this sweet pair of feline friends and have been looking to add a new family member or two, please think about giving Jamie & John a furever home.
