Oliver is looking for his forever family This sweet-natured boy was born to be a family dog! He is calm, gentle, mild-mannered, and incredibly loving. Oliver is a yellow Lab mix, approx 5-6 years old. He is fully grown at 55 lbs and 26” shoulder height.Being an adult dog, Oliver is past the rambunctious puppy phase. He has a chill, “go-with-the-flow” personality and he’s happy just being in the company of his humans. Oliver is very affectionate and would be delighted to find a family who will shower him with lovin’. He likes kids just as much as adults, and he’s good with dogs & cats as well.Oliver lives at a rescue shelter in Tonalá, Mexico. He spends his days with many doggie friends and behaves well with all of them, regardless of size, age, or gender. He has never shown any reactive, territorial, or jealous behaviour towards other dogs. Although he doesn’t have tons of experience with cats, he has met a couple kitties and didn’t have much interest in them.Oliver’s energy level is ideal for the average person/family. He doesn’t demand tons of exercise, but he does enjoy daily walks, exploring trails, and visiting the lake. He will happily join in outdoor activities and then relax at home with his people.Oliver is doing great with leash training, crate training, and house training. Given that he lives in a shelter setting, he would benefit from practicing these skills further when he moves into a “real home” with his future family.Oliver truly encompasses the loveable traits that Labs are known for, especially his family-oriented nature. He will be a terrific companion for the lucky folks who scoop him up! VETTING: Fully vaccinated. Neutered. Dewormed. SNAP 4Dx negative (Heartworm, Lyme disease, Ehrlichia, and Anaplasma). Flea/tick/heartworm prevention. No known medical issues or injuries.**PLEASE NOTE: Oliver is currently in Mexico. There will be a $235 fee for transportation to BC.
