Lightning has come a long way since coming into rescue as a terrified semi-feral young mother. She still bolts when people move too fast, and she only likes to be pet when she's eating her squeeze tube treats. Lightning currently lives with other cats, a dog, and a child but doesn't seek out their company. She will do best in a calm, quiet home with an experienced and patient owner who understands cats well. In time Lightning will be even more comfortable with indoor life, and there's no doubt she will continue to relax and blossom. Titan helps Lightning feel more confident and is showing her that people can be kind and trustworthy. They came into rescue separately but have become very bonded in their foster home. They wrestle and playfight, chase each other all over the house, and nap together. Lightning is being adopted as a bonded pair with Titan, a very affectionate and calm male tabby.
