All Around Bay BLM Mustang Trail, Ranch, Rodeo, Roping Gelding
âPunchy âis a 15-year-old Bay Mustang Gelding! Standing right around 14.1hds tall. Donât let his size fool you; heâs got a heart the size of Texas! This dude is COWBOY COOL! Ride him with or without a bridle. He has seen more country than most people, been used to doctor cattle outside, gathered on in steep country, he can hold anything you rope and will out pull most big horses. Kids have ridden him out on the ranch; heâs perfect for a kid that wants to go to work with their dad and be horseback all day long. He is a cool little ranch horse. Heâs perfect for a kid wanting to go to the Jr rodeos on in the breakaway, steer stopping and heeling. You can run as many as you want on him, and he gets better every steer; heâs also one that you can practice roping the heel o Matic on all day long. Heâs got plenty of run, good in the box, and we have been hauling him to the smaller numbered ropingâs on the heel side, he isnât a finished rope horse, but it wonât take long for someone to finish him; all he needs is seasoned. He has been hauled everywhere been on trail rides at the national parks he has a nice running walk, and will lead the pack down the trail, rides out alone or in a group. He loves water and loves to go swimming! He can do it all, from the flat sandy trails to the steep mountain trails. He will cross logs, water, tarps, bridges, and ditches and navigate rough rocky terrain. He will carry a flag with no issues at all. He would be excellent for the drill team, parades, or even to carry flags at the rodeos. Punchy is user-friendly and always gives 110% percent! He neck reins or you can ride him two-handed, whichever you prefer. You wonât find one with more heart and try than him! He stands great to saddle and bridle, loads and unloads great. Turn him around in the trailer or back him out, stands tied quietly. He has excellent feet and stays barefoot all year long. He is easy to catch in a stall or pasture. He will be a great addition to anyoneâs family, whether youâre a weekend trail rider or wanting one to go ranch on. He will also ground tie. I recommend at least an intermediate rider as he is more GO than Whoa. He is always the same, level-headed horse with a gentle nature and a kind eye, whether you ride him every day or leave him off. He has never offered to buck or balk up and is always easy-going and gentle-natured. He has excellent manners and wants to do anything you ask of him.
