Adopt Trooper a Rottweiler / Shepherd (Unknown Type) / Mixed dog in London
Hi world! I’m excited to tell you about my fabulous self and to explain why I think I’m the luckiest dog alive. Before coming into ARF’s care I ran into some trouble and found myself injured, cold, and in a dire situation. ARF stepped in to rescue me and I’m now well on the mend and sharing my foster home with two humans, a resident dog, and a kitty. Things sure changed in my favour, and I couldn’t be happier!I’ve got a comfy dog bed to sleep on at night and a fenced backyard to play in that keeps me safe. Meeting other friendly dogs is very fun, but because I’m just a bit too curious about the smaller critters in life it is best that my forever home not have any felines. I’m mostly a low-key guy who enjoys lounging, but walks on leash are a terrific way for me to sniff out new smells and discover the world. I have met a small human or two, and foster mom says I did just nice because I’m respectful with their space.I do love my people sooo much that I’m not thrilled about going into my crate when they go out for short periods. I’m not ready for free roam of the house either, so with yummy treats in my crate and time to practice I’m sure I will catch on to the routine. For that reason I’m hoping to find an adoptive home with a schedule where I can spend as much time with them as possible. You see, I love my people with all my heart and can’t wait for our cuddling sessions.I’ve beat the odds in my recovery and am healthy in every way, however I did test positive for heartworm so will have to undergo some treatment. Not to worry though as ARF pays for this, and they are hoping that my forever family can welcome me into their home now, and finalize my adoption when my trips to the veterinarian are complete. I’ve already been neutered, vaccinated, and micro chipped.
