Raquel is a sweet gentle 8 year old border collie mix. She was found wandering with a badly infected eyes. One needed to be removed and the other the vet does not think she can see much out of her other eye. She is being fostered in a home with other dogs - some smaller and others bigger as well as a toddler. She gets along fine with everyone is just so calm and friendly. We would love for her to be spoiled in a home of her own. She is healthy, up to date on her shots, and spayed. She weighs about 30 pounds. She has no ongoing medical needs. Raquel would do best in a home with another dog that she can follow along but if placed as a single dog it will just take her more time to learn the space and how to get around and get in and out. A home with a fenced yard is ideal so she can enjoy the outdoors at her own pace. But she does walk well on a leash and loves to smell her way and enjoys the activity and being with her people.
