We at All Paws Matter believe in the benefits of post-adoption training for our dogs and their families. This allows for continued socialization, learning and helps to create a well-mannered and balanced dog. This is now a requirement in our adoption process. Proof of training classes for puppies specifically is required before adoption. They were alone and terrified, probably stripped away from their mama and lost without her. Thankfully the staff at the shelter took such good care of them and now sweet Mariah is ready to come to Canada. Mariah is a sweet girl who deserves to be in a beautiful home. The shelter is overwhelmed with puppies right now and we need this beautiful baby to come to us to have a life she deserves not one living in a kennel for months and months. March is a happy and playful little girl but she is a typical puppy who is energetic and mischievous, however, with training (mandatory with proof of receipt) she will develop into a beautiful dog. Her potty training has begun and will require work from the adopter, crate training and routine will assist greatly with this. Her ideal home would be one with or without another dog, a fenced in backyard to expend her energy as she gets a little older. Respectful children and someone who works from home, at least part of the day is a must. Home changes and adopter personalities can bring out different behaviours not previously seen. We also do not claim or suggest that our dogs are hypo-allergenic or that they shed/do not shed.
