Arthur, Domestic Shorthair For Adoption In Toronto, Ontario

Toronto, ON

***IN FOSTER***And I say, "Hey!" (Hey!) What a wonderful kind of day! If we could learn to work and play...Recognize these lyrics? Yep, you guessed it! It's from Arthur! Our TV show star for children has been turned into none other than a gorgeous orange creamsicle tuxedo-patterned cat! Ooh, fancy new fit, Arthur! But how did this famous celebrity end up in our humble little cat shelter? Well, Arthur was found strolling around one of our volunteer's neighbourhoods for weeks. He would hang around backyards, and many wondered whether or not he had a permanent place to call home. In an interview with the living legend himself, it turns out that it wasn't the case! So, as per usual, Arthur was promptly welcomed to EHS and cared for.According to a volunteer, sweet Arthur seemed to be friendly and curious on his way to the vet. He constantly looks around, peering through the holes of the cage with wide eyes and a strong desire to know more about the environment around him. A thirst for knowledge, you could say! When it comes to human touch and interaction, so far, Arthur seems to be equal parts tolerant and indifferent when called (though, you could argue that he just hasn't learned his name yet!) or petted. There's potential that could be tapped into. With those irresistibly puffy orange cheeks, who could resist petting him?Want to get along with Arthur? Just don't forget to say, "Hey!"--------------------The adoption fee for a single cat or kitten at EHS is $175 and includes 30 days of free pet insurance.
