Bonjourno Polo il gatto.Unlike his famous Italian counterpart, who often traveled by ship or camel, our boy Polo made his way to EHS by car from La Belle Province.Understandably perturbed by his recent change of venue, Polo is decompressing in one of our loving foster homes. This timid black and white sweetheart has found comfort under a pile of stuffed animals, showing a specific liking for a large dinosaur that provides him with the safety and security he needs at the moment. Polo prefers to quietly observe the comings and goings of his foster family from the safety of his stuffies fort during the day, emerging at night to eat and use the litter box, and even doing a bit of exploring under the cover of darkness. He likes to scale furniture and cabinets (the taller the better!), which prompted his foster to place a little basket up high for him to relax in. Although Polo will hiss and growl when approached, no harm is intended--he is simply asking for space.The optimal environment for Polo will become clearer as we get to know this sensitive boy. It might be best that he be the sole explorer in a quiet home, as his experience with other animals is unknown. Will you be the one to help Polo set sail into the next voyage of his life? Schedule a meet and greet, you'll be in for a lifetime of adventure and discovery! --------------------The adoption fee for a single cat at EHS is $175. Take home an adult feline friend for your kitty and the adoption fee for the pair is $300! For kittens under six months of age, the adoption fee is $200...or, double your cuteness quotient and adopt two wee furballs for $350! If you mix and match (kitten plus cat), the adoption fee is $300. Each of our cats is spayed/neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, snap tested for FIV/FeLV, dewormed, and flea treated prior to adoption. Kittens are not spayed or neutered until 5 months of age, but the cost of spay/neuter will be covered as part of the adoption.--------------------Interested in adopting Polo? It's easy!
